Kristian Ronneburg (born October 22, 1986 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician of the DIE LINKE party .

Life

Ronneburg was born in Magdeburg and grew up in Marzahn-Hellersdorf . After graduating from high school and doing community service, he studied social sciences in Magdeburg and then returned to Berlin. In 2009 he became a member of the DIE LINKE party, since 2011 he has been a district councilor in Marzahn-Hellersdorf. There he is a member of the Committee for Integration and Culture / Further Education.

From 2013 to 2015 he was a personal assistant to the MPs of the House of Representatives Manuela Schmidt and from 2015 to 2016 he was the office clerk of the Bundestag MP Caren Lay .

In the 2016 parliamentary elections , Kristian Ronneburg won the direct mandate in the constituency of Marzahn-Hellersdorf 6 with 25.3 percent . In the House of Representatives he is the spokesman for the political field of petitions, chairman of the petitions committee and a member of the committees for civic engagement / participation and environment / transport / climate.

In addition, he has been the district chairman of the Die Linke party in Marzahn-Hellersdorf since 2017.
