Kristijan Ljubanović (born November 13, 1978 in Karlovac , Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian handball player . His body length is 2.00 m.

Ljubanović, who last played for the German club Frisch Auf Göppingen and appears for the Croatian national team, is usually used as a circle runner.

Kristijan Ljubanović started playing handball in his hometown. Here he also made his debut in the Croatian first division. In 2001 he went to the capital club RK Agram Medveščak Zagreb for a year; In 2002 he moved abroad for the first time, namely to A1 Bregenz in Austria. There he won the Austrian championship in 2004 and 2005 and the Austrian Cup in 2003. In 2005 he moved on to the Wilhelmshaven AGM in the German handball league . With the North Sea townspeople, he managed to stay in the league twice; However, he could not prevent relegation in 2008. After relegation, he went to Slovenia to join RK Koper for a year , before moving to Frisch Auf Göppingen in 2009. There, however, his contract was terminated in November 2009.

Kristijan Ljubanović has not yet played an international match for the Croatian national team, but has been nominated for the Croatians' preliminary squad for the 2008 European Championship .
