Kristin Holby

Kristin Clotilde Holby (* 1951 in Oslo , Norway ) is an American actress and model .

Life

Kristin Holby was born in Oslo in 1951, but grew up in Larchmont , New York City , where she graduated from Mamaroneck High School in arts and music. Holby later attended classes at the Rhode Island School of Design and began a job as a textile designer.

In the 1980s, Holby worked as a successful top model for a variety of fashion designers such as Ralph Lauren , Yves St. Laurent , Givenchy and Chanel . Here she became known under her middle name Clotilde . In addition to small acting roles in the films The Soldiers of Fortune and Blood Moon , Holby was seen in TV & print advertising for fashion and cosmetics.

After marrying Dr. James Darnell and with the birth of their children Phoebe and Camilla, Holby ended his modeling career. She later opened the clothing store Clotilde: The Dress Shop in Larchmont, where she sells women's dresses that she has designed herself.
