Mamaroneck is on Long Island Sound east of Yonkers . The place has 29,707 inhabitants (as of 2016).

structure

history

The land belonged to the settlement area of ​​the Siwanoy Indians and was bought in 1661 by the English merchant John Richbell for the trade in tools, clothes and implements. In 1700 the settlement had about 80 inhabitants. On May 17, 1788, the place was officially founded by the state of New York.
