Kristin fruit (* 29. June 1983 in Meiningen as Kristin Floßmann ) is a German politician of the CDU . From 2014 to 2019 she was a member of the Thuringian State Parliament .

Life

Obst attended the regular school in Römhild (today Herzog-Bernhard-Schule ) and then completed a three-year apprenticeship as an office clerk at a plant construction company in Westenfeld . After graduating from the State Vocational School in Bad Neustadt an der Saale , Bavaria, in 2004 , she studied the bachelor's degree in Public Management at the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences , which she completed as the best of the year in 2008. She also worked for the Sondershausen city ​​administration on the preparation of an opening balance sheet. After successfully passing the bachelor's examination, she worked in the Personnel / Legal Department at the Erfurt University of Applied Sciences . At the same time, she completed a master's degree in Public Management & Governance. In 2011 she moved to the Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences , where she initially headed the department for economics and finance and later the associated department.

Obst is married and lives in Hildburghausen .

Political career

Obst has been a board member of the women's union in the CDU district association Hildburghausen - Henneberger Land since 2013, and from the beginning of 2015 to July 2020 she was chairman of the CDU district association. In May 2014 she was elected to the district council of the Hildburghausen district. In the state elections in 2014 , she won the direct mandate in the constituency of Hildburghausen I - Schmalkalden-Meiningen III . She was a member of the budget and finance, petitions and equality committees of the Thuringian state parliament and the prison commission. She was also a deputy member of the State Youth Welfare Committee.
