Kristina Jørgensen (born January 17, 1998 in Horsens ) is a Danish handball player who belongs to the squad of the Danish national team.
Career
Kristina Jørgensen initially played for Horsens HK in her hometown . In February 2014 she made her debut for the U16 team at Skanderborg Håndbold . Later, the back player ran on with the women's team from Skanderborg Håndbold in the Danish top division. In 2017 she moved to league competitor Viborg HK .
Jørgensen played for the Danish youth team, with which they won the gold medal at the U-17 European Championship in 2015 , the silver medal at the U-18 World Championship in 2016 and the bronze medal at the U-19 European Championship in 2017 . At the U-19 European Championship she was also elected MVP . On November 25, 2017, she made her international debut for the Danish senior team. A month later, Jørgensen took part in the World Cup in Germany . She also took part in the 2018 European Championship .
