Kristine Bayley (born June 22, 1983 in Perth ) is a former Australian track cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2005 Kristine Bayley was Australian runner-up in the Keirin , the following year she won the national title in the 500-meter time trial . Until her retirement from active cycling in 2007, she stood on the podium numerous times at Australian track championships in short-term disciplines.

At the Oceania Games in 2005, Bayley won gold in the time trial, silver in the sprint and bronze in the keirin. At the UCI Track World Championships in 2007 , she finished third in the team sprint together with Anna Meares .

Private

Kristine Bayley is a sister of cyclist Ryan Bayley . Since 2009 she has been married to Shane Perkins , who is also a successful track cyclist. Husband and brother are so enemies with each other that they haven't spoken to each other for years and have already fought on the cycling track.
