Kristofer Randers
Kristofer Randers (born April 1, 1851 in Aremark , Norway , † March 15, 1917 in Kristiania , today's Oslo) was a Norwegian writer, poet, critic and official. He was also a theater critic for the Aftenposten newspaper .
His parents were the doctor Marcus Gjøe Rosenkrantz Randers (1817–1895) and Johanne ("Hanna") Ditlefine Borch (1823–1900). Randers was born in Aremark, but grew up in Salten and Ålesund .
On the Aksla mountain above Ålesund is the Kristofer Randers monument erected in his honor .
