The Croatian Canoe Association ( HKS ) is the organized umbrella organization for canoeing in Croatia . For 2011, the association counted 1223 registered canoeists and 30 canoe clubs. The seat of the association is in Zagreb . The HKS president is Petar Lovrić.

Association history

The Croatian Canoe Association was founded in Zagreb on August 26, 1939. The association became a member of the ICF on October 31, 1992. On December 11, 1993, it became a member of the ECA.
