Kronberg (Ulrichskirchen-Schleinbach municipality)

Kronberg is a place in the market town of Ulrichskirchen-Schleinbach in the Mistelbach district in Lower Austria .

The street village rises to the east and is located east of the Kreut valley on the Hochleithenwald .

history

The place was mentioned in a document in 1295. On the nearby Scheibenberg there was a primeval fortification with traces of settlement from the Neolithic and the Latène times . The former castle of the Lords of Chranberg was on the Kreuzberg or Residenzberg.

Development

The initial place appears as a triangle in the western district. On the southern Kreuzberg stands the parish church and around it the cellar district that surrounds the mountain. There is also a cellar lane in the north.
