Kropywnyzke ( Ukrainian Кропивницьке ; Russian Кропивницкое Kropiwnizkoje ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Kirovohrad with about 900 inhabitants (2001).
The village lies on the banks of the Taschlyk , a 33 km long left tributary of the Chornyj Taschlyk, 35 km southeast of the Novoukrajinka district center and 63 km southwest of the Kropywnyzkyj oblast center .
Kropywnyzke is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in Novoukrajinka district , which also includes the villages Wilni Luky ( Вільні Луки ⊙ ) with about 200 inhabitants and Trudoljubiwka ( Трудолюбівка ⊙ ) with about 100 inhabitants.
The village is named after the Ukrainian writer and playwright Marko Kropywnyzkyj , who was born here in 1840. The village was previously called Beschbairaky.
