The Krumme Pfuhl , also called Semmelsee , is a small natural body of water in the urban area of Biesenthal in the Brandenburg district of Barnim . It is located about 1.5 kilometers west of the city center in a residential area between Prendener Strasse and Lanker Strasse.
The Krumme Pfuhl has an area of 1.55 hectares. The water surface of the lake is roughly at the same height as that of the Great Wukensee, 350 meters to the north, with its 39 meters height. The shore area is completely covered with trees, under which a path leads around the lake. The shore path is only interrupted on the north side of the lake, on Prendener Straße. The lake, leased by the German Angler Association (DAV), is managed by the Lange Rute fishing club, Danewitz local group.
