The Kubi Kangri is a 6721 m high mountain in the Himalayas in the west of Nepal on the border with the autonomous region of Tibet .
The Kubi Kangri is the highest point in the Changla Himal massif . It is located in the glaciated headwaters of the Kubi Tsangpo , a right tributary of the Yarlung Tsangpo . The 6859 m high Kaqur Kangri is 67 km to the southeast.
The first ascent of the Kubi Kangri succeeded in Kubi Tsangpo Headwaters Expedition 2007 under the leadership of Toyoji Wada on 14 September 2007 by Kubigletscher over the East Ridge.
