Kufstein Unlimited

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kufstein Unlimited is the largest pop & rock festival in western Austria . The festival was first organized in 2011 by Volksbank Kufstein through a company. In 2016, the Kufsteinerland Tourist Association and the City of Kufstein took over, which together invested around 130,000 euros. The rest is raised through sponsors and stand rentals. The festival is organized by Standortmarketing Kufstein GmbH.

Over 50 bands play on three days in downtown Kufstein and the festival attracts thousands of visitors every year. The city of Kufstein already had 15,000 visitors in 2011 and 30,000 in 2017.

Since 2018 the main act on Saturday evening, like all other concerts, has been free of charge.
