The Kuh-e Kokzaro Zaghicha is with a height of 5126 m the highest peak in a mountain range of the Hindu Kush , which extends northwest of the river valley of the Punjschir . The mountain is located 65 km northeast of the city of Charikar . The Salang Pass crosses the mountain range 55 km further west.
