Culture Prize of the German Freemasons
The German Freemasons' Culture Prize is, along with the Lessing Ring and the Humanitarian Prize, one of the awards given by the Grand Lodge of the Old Free and Accepted Masons of Germany . Founded in 1966 as a literary prize , it has been awarded under the name of the Culture Prize since 1980 . It is endowed with 10,000 euros and serves to recognize artistic work that corresponds to the Masonic ideas of tolerance, freedom and brotherhood.
