Kunding is a district of the Burgheim market in the Upper Bavarian district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen . It is four kilometers south of Burgheim.

Kunding has had its own municipality since 1818 and was incorporated into the Burgheim market on July 1, 1976 as part of the regional reform .

The village used to belong to the Gempfing school district; Since the school reform at the beginning of the 1970s, the children have attended the elementary school in Burgheim.

The church has belonged to the parish of Gempfing for centuries . The St. Helena branch church is located in an exposed location on the northeastern edge of the village. It dates back to the 15th century and was expanded around 1700. It was last renovated in 2019. The tower is from 1866. In the village there is the volunteer fire brigade and the shooting club "Auerhahn".
