Kuno II of Rott

Kuno II von Rott († 1081) was the son of Kuno I von Rott (around 1015; † 1086) from the house of the Pilgrimids , Count Palatine of Bavaria (1055-1086), Count of Vohburg (1040) and Count an der lower Isar (1079). Kuno II von Rott was married to Elisabeth of Lorraine († 1086) . On August 11, 1081 he fell in the battle of Höchstädt under King Henry IV's command . Since Kuno II von Rott was childless, the father and the widow decided that the entire inheritance and even Elizabeth's dowry should go to the Rott monastery . With the death of Kunos II, the family of the Counts of Rott died out.
