Kurt Albert (musician)

Kurt Albert (born July 17, 1952 ) is an accordion player from Linthal in the Swiss canton of Glarus .

Career

Kurt Albert composed the Urnerbodä Kafi and recorded this Scottish in 1977 with other musicians under the direction of René Wicky . In 1980 he founded the country band Echo vom Tödi . After a few initial staff changes, he was finally able to count on a personal stability with Köbi Kamm ( accordion ), Ernst Ehrler or Hermann Luchsinger ( piano ) and René Walker ( bass violin ). They developed a repertoire that included traditional country music as well as other styles of music. On December 29, 1999 they gave their farewell concert.

Kurt Albert is a trained mechanic and clerk and worked for many years with an independent base for Kärcher - Pressure Washer . In 2008 he became an employee of a company for agricultural machinery in Murg SG . He has been retired since 2017.
