Kurt Arndt (politician)

Kurt Arndt (born March 11, 1908 in Berlin ; † March 10, 1997 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Kurt Arndt attended primary school and did an apprenticeship as a machine setter . He joined the trade union in 1925 and the SPD in 1930. After the Second World War he trained as a welfare worker in 1945 . In 1947 he became a union secretary at the German Employees' Union (DAG) in Berlin. In the Berlin election in 1963 , Arndt was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he belonged until 1971.
