Kurt Böge

Kurt Böge (born March 19, 1926 in Hasenmoor ; † June 20, 2009 there ) was a German CDU politician .

Life and work

After completing secondary school, Böge, who was of Protestant faith, first completed an apprenticeship in agriculture and then in agriculture. Since 1948 he has been an independent farmer in his native Hasenmoor.

Böge's son Reimer is a member of the European Parliament . Kurt Böge was awarded the Cross of Merit on the ribbon of the Federal Cross of Merit on August 9, 1983 at the suggestion of the Schleswig-Holstein state government .

Böge had been a member of the CDU since 1955. From 1982 to 1990 Böge was mayor of Hasenmoor. From 1985 to 1989 he was chairman of the CDU in the Segeberg district . From 1975 to 1988 he was a member of the state parliament in Schleswig-Holstein . He represented the constituency Segeberg -West in parliament.
