Kurt Daniel

Kurt Daniel (born August 26, 1899 in Saarlouis ; † 1984 ) was a German administrative lawyer and ministerial official.

Life

Daniel studied law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . In 1920 he was reciprocated in the Corps Hasso-Borussia . In 1924, he was from the Ludwigs University Hessian casting for Dr. iur. PhD. From 1926 to 1931 he worked in the Reich Ministry of Economics , then from 1931 to 1933 in the Reich Supervisory Office for Private Insurance . In 1933 he returned to the Reich Ministry of Economics, where he stayed until 1945. After the Second World War he was imprisoned in the Moosburg internment camp . In 1948 he took up a job in the private sector. In 1949 he moved to the North Rhine-Westphalia regional office of the German Office for Entry and Exit Permits and in the same year to the Federal Ministry of Economics . There he was head of unit VB 2/6 (foreign exchange law criminal proceedings) until 1950, from 1950 to 1953 head of unit VC 2 or (from 1953) VD 2 (foreign exchange law, foreign exchange monitoring), and from 1954 to 1964 head of subdivision VB (foreign trade with countries outside the EPU area). In 1964 he resigned from the civil service with the rank of ministerial conductor.
