Kurt Goller

Kurt Goller (born February 16, 1910 in Schömberg in the Freudenstadt district ; † July 4, 1990 in Karlsruhe ) was a German lawyer. From 1967 to 1975 he was President of the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court .

After studying law, Kurt Goller worked as a judge and public prosecutor in the Tübingen area from 1936 to 1939. This was followed by an interruption in his judicial career due to military service and imprisonment. He was then a judge at the Münsingen District Court , the Tübingen Regional Court and the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court . In 1959 he was promoted to director of the Tübingen District Court , and in December 1963 to the District Court President of the Ulm District Court .

On April 18, 1967, Goller was appointed President of the Higher Regional Court in Karlsruhe. With this consciously made personnel decision, which for the first time put a Swabian at the head of the Baden judiciary, the growing together of the parts of the country should be promoted.
