building

More than 100 years ago the district court was located at Neckarhalde 30b . However, the square became too small and so in 1903 the construction of a joint judicial building began in Doblerstrasse. It was built in the forms of the Neo-Renaissance . The building was inaugurated on October 9, 1905. The construction costs at that time were more than a million marks. All Tübingen judicial authorities were housed there and began operating on October 16, 1905.

Today the court, together with the Tübingen regional court , is still located in the justice building at Doblerstrasse 14. Public prosecutor's office, notary's office and land registry have been outsourced.
