Kurt Wasserfall (born May 28, 1952 in Göttingen ) is a German author for children and young people .

The author studied theater studies and German at the University of Cologne . In addition to writing, he also worked as an assistant director and actor from 1979 to 1989. The writer lives with his family in Jagdhaus (Schmallenberg) in the Sauerland . In addition to his work as a writer, he gives courses in language skills and reading techniques. He also reads excerpts from his works in elementary schools, for example. Kurt Wasserfall is regularly active in Schwerte as a course instructor for the holiday academy "Creative Writing" of the Westphalian Literature Office in Unna (WLB).
