Kurt Wellenkamp

Kurt Clamor Wellenkamp (born January 30, 1903 in Osterholz , † 1984 ) was a German administrative lawyer and ministerial official .

Career

Wellenkamp was born as the son of the Magistrate Council Bruno Wellenkamp. He studied law in Heidelberg, Tübingen, Munich and Göttingen. From 1933 to 1934 he was a councilor in the Prussian Ministry of Finance. From 1934 to 1945 district administrator in the Pomeranian district of Cammin and acting in the district of Franzburg-Barth . After a short time as a judge at the Hanover Administrative Court in 1950, after the establishment of the Federal Republic of Germany, he became head of the legal department in the Federal Ministry for Affairs of the Bundesrat .
