Johanna Läpple

Johanna Läpple (born October 21, 1904 , † 1976 ) was a German psychoanalyst .

Career

Läpple was a PhD student of the psychoanalyst Wilhelm Bitter. In 1958 she initiated the Association for Neurosurgery. V. to build a hospital for inpatient analytical psychotherapy in Stuttgart. At the start of construction on December 16, 1964, Johanna Läpple gave a speech. The Psychotherapeutic Clinic Stuttgart-Sonnenberg was opened on October 1st, 1967. The Research Center for Psychotherapy Stuttgart was later established at it. This changed at the beginning of 2005 under the sponsorship of the Heidelberg University Hospital . Together with Helmut Eschenbach, Johanna Läpple was in charge of founding the Carl Gustav Jung Institute in Stuttgart .
