history
The band emerged from the cover band Just For Fun (JFF hit band) founded in 1987. As Just For Fun they played in the opening act for Manfred Mann's Earth Band , Kim Wilde , Kool & the Gang , Geier Sturzflug , Guildo Horn , Spider Murphy Gang etc. and were artist accompaniment of Dave Dee and Harpo .
KurzVorDerRente was founded in 2011. The average age of the band is around 50 years, which is why the musicians have given themselves the name "KurzVorDerRente". The band is under contract with the record company Telamo (Munich).
The band's musicians come from the Hamburg and Dithmarschen area . You have been working live and in the studio in Germany for over 30 years and have worked for Ian Cussick , Udo Lindenberg , Wolfgang Petry , Godewind , for example . You were on film music a. a. involved in men's pension and crime scene .
On August 16, 2013, the debut album Her Greatest Successes was released . The single “Kurz vor der Rente” stayed in the top 15 of the NDR1 hit parade for several weeks.
