The Kuwaiti Air Force ( Arabic القوات الجوية الكويتية, DMG al-quwwāt al-ǧawwiyya al-kuwaitiyya ; English Kuwait Air Force ) is the air force of the armed forces of the emirate of Kuwait .

The 2500-strong Luftwaffe is divided into squadrons ; these are:
- 9th Combat Squadron ( F-18C / D )
- 12. Fighter Bomber / Training Squadron ( Hawk )
- 19. Training relay ( Tucano )
- 25th Combat Squadron ( F-18C / D )
- 32nd Helicopter Squadron ( SA.330F )
- 33rd Helicopter Squadron ( SA.342L )
- 41st Air Transport Squadron ( L-100-30 )
- 62nd Helicopter Squadron ( AS.532SC )
- 88th Combat Helicopter Squadron ( AH-64D )

The headquarters are located at Al Mubarak Air Base , other airports are Ali Al Salem Air Base and Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base .
Current equipment
To modernize its air force, Kuwait ordered twenty-eight Eurofighter Typhoon (22 single-seaters and 6 double-seaters) in September 2015 and intends to purchase twenty-four H225M helicopters from Airbus Helicopters .
