Kuyganyor is an urban-type settlement in the Uzbek province of Andijon in the Fergana Valley and the capital of the Andijon district .

The place is about 10 km north of the provincial capital Andijon on the right bank of the Qoradaryo . In the north of the village the Great Ferghana Canal meets the Karaüngkür from the right , in the west it flows into the Qoradaryo from the right, and in the south the Great Ferghana Canal branches off to the left.

Kuyganyor has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1978. According to the 1989 census, Kuyganyor had 8426 inhabitants, according to a calculation for 2001 the population was 9200.
