The Karaüngkür ( Kyrgyz Караүңкүр ; Uzbek Тентаксой Tentaksoy ) is a right tributary of the Qoradaryo ( Kara-Daryja ) in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan ( Central Asia ).

The Karaüngkür rises on the southern slope of the northern part of the Ferghana Mountains . The river flows in a south-westerly direction and reaches the lowlands of the Fergana Valley . It flows through the city of Basarkorgon , crosses the border into Uzbekistan and gradually turns to the west. He passes the city of Paxtaobod . The Moylisuv ( Mailuusuu ) flows into the Karaüngkür on the right. A few meters downstream, the Great Ferghana Canal meets the river from the right. The Karaüngkür now turns south and reaches the Qoradaryo after just 3 km on the northern edge of the provincial capital Andijon . The Karaüngkür has a length of 126 km. It drains an area of ​​4130 km². The mean discharge is 29.6 m³ / s.
