Kvassodden ( Norwegian for Narrow Headland ) is a headland on the Princess Astrid Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It lies on the northern edge of the Nivlisen .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute gave them descriptive names.
