Kyle Dale Vanden Bosch (* 17th November 1978 in Larchwood , Iowa ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the defensive ends . Vanden Bosch played college football at the University of Nebraska . In the National Football League (NFL) he played for the Arizona Cardinals , the Tennessee Titans and the Detroit Lions . He was nominated three times for the Pro Bowl .

Career

In 2001 he was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the NFL Drafts as the 3rd player. Due to knee injuries, he missed most of his rookie season and the entire 2003 season . In the four years in Arizona, he only got four sacks . Before the 2005 season , Vanden Bosch signed a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans . He scored 12.5 sacks - the fourth best value in the league - and was called up to the Pro Bowl for the first time as a replacement for the injured Jason Taylor . He then received a new four-year contract worth $ 21 million with the Titans. Overall, he scored 38.5 sacks for the Titans in five years and was elected to the Pro Bowl two more times.

On March 5, 2010, Vanden Bosch joined the Detroit Lions as a free agent . Vanden Bosch signed a four-year $ 26 million deal with the Lions. On February 5, 2013, the contract with the Lions was terminated.
