The López-Nunatak (in Chile Picachos Teniente López ) is a steilwandiger and 275 m high Nunatak from granite to Greenwich Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 1.8 km southeast of Ash Point in Breznik Heights .
Participants of the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947) named him in 1947 after Sergio López Angulo, communications officer on the ship Iquique on this research trip .
