Löderup is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Skåne län and the historical province of Skåne . It has 614 inhabitants (2015) on an area of 88 hectares and is located about 20 kilometers east of the city of Ystad .
With the territorial reform in 1971, the municipality of Löderup was dissolved and incorporated into the municipality of Ystad . The former municipality received a coat of arms on April 26, 1963.
Löderup became famous as the setting in Henning Mankell's crime novels about Detective Inspector Kurt Wallander , whose father and, in the last episode, he himself lives here.
