L'Aura (2008)

L'Aura (* 13. August 1984 in Brescia as Laura Abela ) is an Italian pop musician .

Career

L'Aura lived in San Francisco for two years and released her first album Okumuki in Italy in 2005 , which included songs in both English and Italian. In 2006 she took part in the 56th Sanremo Festival with the song Irraggiungibile in the newcomer category, followed by a new edition of her debut album. In June 2007 she released her second album, Demian , the title of which alludes to Hermann Nesse's Demian . In 2008 she recorded the song Basta! again participated in the Sanremo Festival, this time in the main category, and in February she released the compilation L'Aura . The musician returned in 2010 with the EP Sei come me ; it contained the single Eclissi del cuore , a cover of Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart , which was also recorded with Nek (included on the 2011 deluxe edition of the EP).

After a long retreat from the public, during which she married Simone Bertolotti and became a mother in 2013, the new album Il contrario dell'amore was finally released in 2017 .
