LOC (* 10. July 1979 as Liam O'Connor Nygaard in Aarhus ) is a Danish rapper .

biography

Liam O'Connor was born in 1979 in Aarhus, Denmark to Susan Nygaard O'Connor and the Irishman Dermot O'Connor. In the mid-1990s he founded the 'Alzheimer Klinikken' group together with Chadi Abdul-Karim (CAK). Together they published Respect Stinker and Første Træk . Through these albums, other rappers like Jokeren became aware of the duo.

After the Alzheimer Clinic was dissolved, LOC worked with U $ O (Ausamah Saed) and NIS (Marc Johnson). Under the name 'BANGERS' they produced an EP called 'VIP' limited to 300 copies, which is now a collector's item. Three years later, LOC formed FIP (Full Impact Productions) with U $ O and Suspekt. With FIP he produced the solo album Dominologi in 2001, which includes the pieces Absinthe and Drik Din Hjerne Ud .

His second album Inkarneret became a hit in 2003 thanks to 'Pop Det Du Har', 'De Bitches', 'Undskyld' and 'Hvem'. In 2005 he released the last album of the trilogy with Cassiopeia . Thanks' Frk. Escobar ',' De Sidste Tider ',' Du Gør Mig 'and' Få Din Flask 'På' this album was also a success. His last album Melankolia / XxxCouture includes the tracks 'XxxCouture', 'Hvorfor Vil Du Ikk' and 'Superbia'.

On September 26th, 2009 LOC presented together with Emil Simonsen, Andreas Duelund, Rune Rask and Jonas Vestergaard under the name 'Selvmord' ( suicide ) the single 'Råbe Under Vand'. On November 16, 2009 they released the album called Selvmord . The lyrics are about unhappy love and timeless scars. The title was explained as follows: "A man's suicide begins the moment he falls in love." On March 14, 2011, the fifth studio album 'Libertiner' was released. At the end of 2011 LOC was involved as a coach on the casting show 'Voice - Denmarks største stemme' (Denmark's biggest voice). He is married to the Danish actress Julie R. Ølgaard .
