content

LOve & MOtion is a film about Lomography . It begins with its beginnings in Vienna at the end of the 20th century, looks back into the youth of its founders and then travels to St. Petersburg where the eponymous camera, the Lomo LC-A, was developed and assembled over many years. You can see the initial incomprehension of the Russian designers about the western hippies and their unusual way of taking photos. This is followed by exhibitions in Moscow and New York, bizarre people doing Lomography and many, in some cases very private, revelations about the protagonists' relationship to their Lomography. Between the sometimes very contradicting contributions, the film shows a large number of Lomographic photographs.
