In qualifying for the Tschammerpokal in 1942 at the Reich level, the club made it to the second round, but lost 6-0 at home against eventual cup winners TSV 1860 Munich . At the end of March 1943, LSV lost 4-1 to FC Bayern Munich in a championship game of Gauliga Südbayern in the 1942/43 season . In the preliminary round of the qualifying tournament for the Tschammerpokal 1943 (either on April 11 or 18), the team beat SpVgg Seidling 4: 3.
