Venues of the Gauliga Südbayern 1942/43

The Gauliga Südbayern 1942/43 was the first season of the Gauliga Südbayern in football. Due to the war-related circumstances, the Gauliga Bayern was divided into the Gauliga Nordbayern and the Gauliga Südbayern from this season , whose champions were each qualified for the final round of the German championship - a Bavarian master was not determined this year. Due to the split, the nominal relegated teams of the previous year were also eligible to play in the top division.

The TSV 1860 Munich won this year's Gaumeisterschaft confidently with only one defeat and one draw. At the German soccer championship, Munich was eliminated in the quarter-finals after a 2-0 defeat against First Vienna FC 1894 .
