The Gauliga Bayern 1934/35 was the second season of the Gauliga Bayern in football. SpVgg Fürth, last year still mediocre, defeated defending champion Nuremberg twice and secured the Gaume Championship with three points ahead of last year's winner. In contrast, the “Kleeblättler” struggled against the bottom of the league, Swabian Augsburg, only reaching a draw in Augsburg and losing to the team around national player Ernst Lehner at Ronhof at home (2: 3). In the final round of the German championship , SpVgg Fürth missed the semi-finals with second place in the preliminary group. Again, three teams had to relegate, as the Gauliga Bayern should be reduced to ten teams in the following season, promoted SpVgg Weiden , SSV Jahn Regensburg and Schwaben Augsburg had to go into the second division. In the promotion rounds prevailed in the north with 1. FC Bayreuth and in the south with 1. FC Munich , who competed in 1935/36 under the name FC 1905 Munich, two of the previous year's relegated team.
