The SG Walhalla Regensburg is a sports club in the Bavarian city of Regensburg with 1,100 members in 17 departments.
History of the previous clubs
Both clubs were named after the Walhalla . In 1903, the older of the two previous clubs was founded as a gymnastics club under the name Turngemeinde Walhalla Steinweg in Stadtamhof . The game association Walhalla 1910 Regensburg was founded in 1910. Their footballers were first class in the 1944/45 season and only narrowly failed to rise in 1935 .
In 1996 TG Walhalla merged with SpVgg Walhalla to form the sports community Walhalla Regensburg .
