The Gauliga Niedersachsen 1934/35 was the second season of the Gauliga Niedersachsen of the German Football Association . Since Viktoria Wilhelmsburg , fourth place in the Gauliga Nordmark in 1933/34 , had to move to the Gauliga Niedersachsen, this season was played in a group of eleven teams. The Gau championship secured Hannover 96 for the first time and qualified for the German soccer championship 1934/35 , in which the Hanoverians in a group with Schalke 04 , Eimsbütteler TV and Stettiner SC reached second place, which was not enough to advance. The SpVgg 1897 Hannover , Viktoria Wilhelmsburg and the Bremen SV descended into the district leagues, in turn, increased turf sports Harburg and VfL Osnabrück from the district league.
