The Gauliga Niedersachsen 1936/37 was the fourth season of the Gauliga Niedersachsen of the German Football Association . The Gauliga Niedersachsen was played in a group of ten teams this season. The Gau championship was secured for the third time by SV Werder Bremen and thus qualified for the German soccer championship 1936/37 , in which the Bremen team achieved second place in a group with Schalke 04 , Hertha BSC and Viktoria Stolp , which was not enough to advance .
