LaMonte Aaron Wade Jr. (born on 1. January 1994 in Baltimore , Maryland is) an American baseball player in Major League Baseball (MLB) on the position of the outfielders .

Career

Wade attended St. Paul's School in Brooklandville and the University of Maryland, College Park , where he played college baseball. Wade was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the ninth round of the 2015 MLB Draft . Wade made his first professional experience with the Elizabethton Twins, a Minnesota Twins farm team in Minor League Baseball (MiLB). In 2016 he played with Luis Arráez and Jaylin Davis at Cedar Rapids Kernels. After a few more years in the MiLB, Wade made his MLB debut wearing the Minnesota Twins on June 28, 2019 against the Chicago White Sox . In this game he started on the position of right fielder and was able to earn an out there . The Twins lost the game 4 to 6. On September 15, 2019, Wade hit his first home run in the MLB. He finished the 2019 season with two home runs, five batted-in runs with a batting average of .196.
