La Cumbrecita is a small place at 1450 meters in the Calamuchita Valley, near the Sierras Grandes in the province of Córdoba in Argentina and is surrounded by streams and dense spruce forests.
Inhabited by Central European emigrants, ecotourism is practiced in La Cumbrecita. There are many alpine-style inns and tea houses that offer typical European pastries, so the pedestrian zone is reminiscent of German villages from the 15th century.
Accommodation is available in hotels, hostels in the style of the Alps, as well as in campsites.
Excursions to La Cumbrecita are available from the nearby village of Villa General Belgrano .
Sports
La Cumbrecita was one of the venues for the 2015 Fistball World Cup .
