The 14th Men's Fistball World Championship took place from November 14-22 , 2015 in the Calamuchita department in the Argentine province of Córdoba . This was decided at the 21st Congress of the International Fistball Association (IFA) as part of the 13th Men's Fistball World Cup in Austria on August 17, 2011. It was the second men's world fistball championship held in Argentina after 1986 .

Attendees

For the first time, 14 instead of 12 teams took part in the 2015 Fistball World Cup. Among them was South Africa , alongside Namibia , for the first time a second team from Africa. The men's national teams from Colombia, Australia and Pakistan also took part in a World Cup tournament for the first time.

Three groups were formed. Groups A and B were divided based on the placements of the previous World Cup. The countries with first participation played in the preliminary round group C.

Preliminary round

The opening game was played in Villa General Belgrano, the remaining group A group matches were played in Santa Rosa, groups B and C were played in Embalse. The top ten teams in the world competed in groups A and B, while newcomers were divided into group C.
