The 8th men's fistball world championship took place from November 23 to 29, 1992 in the Chilean cities of Llanquihue and Frutillar . Chile hosted the men's fistball world championship for the first time .

mode

Six teams play a qualification, while the top four from the previous 1990 World Cup are set for the preliminary round. The four best teams in the qualification continue to play in the preliminary round, the other teams in the qualification play for 9th place.

The preliminary round is played in two groups of four teams each. In the semifinals, the group winners of the preliminary round play against the runners-up in the other group. Furthermore, the group thirds play against the fourth place of the other group for the game for fifth place.

The group matches took place in Llanquihue, the qualifying finals in Fruttillar.
