La Felguera is the largest of the eight parroquias in the municipality of Langreo , Asturias in northern Spain .
The most important buildings are: the Church of San Pedro, the Church of Saint Lourdes, the former plant of the factory, the houses on Count Sizzo Street, the former Salle College, the engineers' chalet, the statue of Pedro Duro, the market and three parks ( Dolores F. Duro, Sutu and Lago).
Bayer operates a factory in the town which, according to its own information , produces 80 percent of all the ingredients required for aspirin worldwide.
