La Nuit blanche

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Under the name La Nuit blanche (in German literally "The White Night" , in the figurative sense "Nights that never end" ), a gala in honor of Swiss snow sports was held in Davos from 2003 to 2005 . The event planned for March 2006 had to be canceled due to a lack of sponsors. The organizing company was also dissolved at the end of the year.

As part of this event, alpine skiers , ski acrobats , freestyle skiers , cross-country skiers and snowboarders met in some original presentations of the sport.

In addition, the queen and king of Swiss snow sports were elected annually. Six female and six female athletes were nominated who had recommended themselves as Reine des Neiges and Roi des Neiges during the season through their performance and personality . The public could have a say via the internet .
